Buying tickets

Use our app to buy train tickets for Arlanda Express. The tickets can not be sent to another user. You can buy a maximum of five tickets. The tickets are valid for 30 days and can be used either to or from the Airport. If you buy a return ticket, the tickets in both directions must be used within 30 days of the date of purchase.

Tickets and Activation

The ticket is in the app. Paper confirmation, booking number, receipts and so forth are not valid as tickets.

The ticket must be activated before boarding a train. The ticket is valid for 60 minutes from the time of activation and must be presented to the train attendant who checks the ticket as being used.

If, in connection with ticket inspection, a passenger is unable to present a valid activated ticket, a new ticket must be purchased on-board the train and a surcharge of SEK 100 paid for the on-board fare. This also applies to passengers travelling at a discount price who are unable to verify their right to the discount.

An activated ticket cannot be reactivated.


No refunds will be made for purchased tickets or travelcards.

A ticket is forfeited if it is not activated within 30 days of the date of purchase.


The tickets purchased using the app are to be paid for with a charge/credit card that you have registered in the app. VISA, Mastercard, Diners,American Express or MasterPass.

The users information and payments are secured via Svea Ekonomi Close Payment gateway. The card number is sent via an encrypted channel directly to the issuing bank. No card information or account details are stored within the application. Svea Ekonomi adheres to the regulations under the industry standard Payment Card industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Processing of personal data

8.1 A-Train AB (Arlanda Express) processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (1998:2004) and thereafter applicable law.

Users consent to A-Train AB processing their personal data (including name, personal identification number, address, phone number) for the purposes set out below.

The personal data obtained by A-Train AB in connection with the agreement and thereafter, will be processed by A-Train AB to the extent required to fulfil the agreement and to safeguard A-Train AB’s rights.

Personal data may also be processed for market and customer analyses, business management, business development and risk management. Personal data may also be processed for purposes related to direct marketing, with the User’s consent.

A Card Issuer processes the personal data that Users have submitted to the Card Issuer. When Users make payments using the Service, the Card Issuer may process this data for the purpose of providing information and marketing to the User.

Users may, at any time, contact the Card Issuer or A-Train AB, depending on who is processing the personal data, and revoke their consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.

Users are entitled, once per year, to obtain a copy of the information that is registered about them and request that any inaccurate data be corrected. In such cases, Users must contact A-Train AB via the website of Arlanda Express

Delays/travel-time guarantee

In the event of a delay exceeding five minutes, you may send a written request for a new journey. In such cases, the ticket must have been activated and used for travel.
